American Idols Live: Who’s the metalhead? Kris or Adam?

Yes, the American Idols Live tour rolled through Albany on Wednesday, August 19, and no, Nippertown.com didn’t go to the show.

Well, at least we didn’t actually go inside the Times Union Center.

But there was so much excitement out on the streets in front of the arena that we really didn’t have to. After all, it’s pretty obvious that Adam Lambert is the only contestant in the history of the show that’s honestly worthy of the title “Idol” – or even rock star, for that matter.

But that didn’t stop the little girls outside the arena from clamoring for a peek at any of this year’s Top 10 – and hopefully snagging an autograph or even – OMG! – a kiss on the cheek.

But perhaps all is not unicorns and teddybears on the Idol tour. What's that we spotted in the tour bus window?

Hmmm... That's what we thought it was. Perhaps Mr. Lambert is getting ready to team up with KISS (Knights in Satan's Service) fulltime?
