MUSIC: The Infamous Stringdusters @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The Grammy Award-nominated quintet unleashes their modern bluegrass sounds, including a preview of their upcoming fifth studio album, Let It Go. Oregon-based bluegrass quintet Fruition opens. 8pm. $25.

MUSIC: Glen David Andrews @ the Lionheart, Albany. A member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, the singer-trombonist brings his jazzy, horn-laced New Orleans funk ‘n’ soul band to town. 8pm. $18.

MUSIC: Low ‘n Lonesome @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The acoustic blues-and-ragtime duo of Rob Adkins and Phil Drum celebrate the release of their debut CD, produced by Sonny Speed. 7pm. $14 in advance; $16 at the door.

MUSIC: Dan Johnson @ the Low Beat, Albany. The Vermont-based Americana sparkplug returns. With Rebel Darling and Red Haired Strangers. 7pm.

MUSIC: Lost Radio Rounders @ Clifton Park/Halfmoon Library, Clifton Park. The vintage Americana duo presents “The Folk Songs of North America,” drawn primarily from the 1960 Alan Lomax book of the same name. 2pm. FREE.

THEATER: “Gypsy: A Musical Fable” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany.”Everything’s Coming Up Roses…” Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill directs the classic musical based on the memoirs of famed stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, featuring a cast of 23 from Broadway star Mary Callanan to local TV personality Benita Zahn. 2pm. $20-$65. STORYTELLING: Word Plays @ Proctors, Schenectady. Storytelling on the theme of “second chances” by Jane Ainslie, Claire Beetlestone, Carol Connolly, Alden (Joe) Doolittle, Margaret French, Marni Gillard, Eliud Nieves, Barbara Palumbo and Sandy Schuman. 2pm. $16.

MUSIC: Gustafer Yellowgold @ the Falcon, Marlboro. A brunch session. 10am. Donations encouraged.

THEATER: “Fiddler On the Roof” @ Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Averill Park. Co-directed by Sue Frost and Val Kavanaugh, the Circle Theatre Players present the universal story about preserving the essence of tradition in the face of inevitable change.
