Dirt Farmer Festival coming to Arrowood Farm Brewery September 6 & 7

Two-day funk and jazz fest Dirt Farmer Festival is coming to Arrowood Farm Brewery in Accord, NY, September 6th & 7th.  Presented by the Levon Helms Studio, the fest is boasting its second year of world-class artists on two stages, with craft beer and food available for enjoyment as well. Midnight Ramble Band will headline and close out both evenings.

The lineup at present includes Steve Earle, Mercury Rev, Sherman Holmes, and promise of another “major guest” name to be announced in the future.  A tribute to Dr. John will also feature his band and ensembles performing some of his best-loved hits.

Midnight Ramble Band, a feature group of the Levon Helms Studios, has been creating music in the Woodstock area in recent years. Consisting of ten musicians, the band creates a full and diverse sound that fluidly transitions between roots, jam, and blues.

Arrowood Farm Brewery has become one of the premiere sites in the Hudson Valley to enjoy music, and the two-day festival is likely to draw many from NYC and the Capital Region for a fall weekend. The brewery produces craft beers but also is home to pigs, chickens, and bees, boasting concern for the environment as a core value. The farm also uses solar panels to improve sustainability and will make an interesting visit unto itself.

Full two-day passes are available for purchase now; single day tickets will be available closer to September.
