Hamiltunes to take over Central Park

Here’s an event Broadway lovers won’t want to miss! Karaoke in the park with a focus on the music from Hamilton, the Broadway hit that is also coming to Proctors this summer, will invite you and your neighbors to join in a sing-along event in Central Park’s Music Haven on Thursday, July 18th, at 7 pm.

“What could be more fun than watching a gaggle of Schenectady’s
biggest theatre fans sing along with all their favorites from
Hamilton,” says Proctors Chief of Staff Jean Leonard. “We can’t wait
to hear the Electric City step up!”

A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase at all shows.

Mike’s Hotdogs will be on hand with a selection of classic picnic
offerings. Ben & Jerry’s will also scoop premium ice cream at each
show. Wine and craft beverages from Wolf Hollow Brewing Company and Nine Pin Cider will also be available.

Schenectady’s Book Mobile will also be on site for school-age children to check out books and support their summer reading. Favorite staff and teachers will be there checking out the books and checking in with students, so consider bringing the whole family to this popular event.

In the case of inclement weather, Proctors remains the official rain
site for The Music Haven Concert Series.
