Salute to “Hamilton” wine tasting

Siena College is hosting a wine tasting on Monday, August 19th at 6:30 pm to celebrate upstate New York’s American Revolution history, inspired the musical “Hamilton” currently at Proctor’s Theatre.

Enjoy a tasting of Victory View Vineyard’s Revolutionary era-themed wines plus mini-talks on the Tony Award-winning smash.

Featuring Jennifer Dorsey, Ph.D., associate professor of history and director of the McCormick Center for the Study of the American Revolution at Siena College, the event will be a salute to Alexander Hamilton and the country’s founding fathers.

Krysta Dennis, Ph.D., producer of Creative Arts at Siena College and Capital Region director/theater-maker, will also be featured.

Tickets cost $32 per person, and include a wine tasting, a full glass of wine, fruit, charcuterie, and Washington County produced artisan cheeses.
