Scott Sharrard from Allman Brothers Band to Play Caffe Lena January 5

Scott Sharrard is coming to Caffe Lena on Sunday, January 5th for a solo performance at 7 pm.

Lead guitarist and music director of the Gregg Allman Band from 2008 to 2017, Sharrard has been hailed as “the next Eric Clapton or Mike Bloomfield.” (Indianapolis Star Tribune) Sharrard’s unforgettable farewell song, “My Only True Friend,” co-written with Allman, earned a 2018 GRAMMY nomination for Americana Song of the Year. Sharrard’s first post-Allman solo album, Saving Grace, reflects their shared predilection for fusing blues, soul, jazz and folk.
