Opalka to Host Artist Lecture with Laetitia Hussain on May 6th

Opalka Art Gallery is hosting artists lectures online, keeping art fresh and audiences invested in learning more about visual arts.

This Wednesday, May 6th, at 6:30 pm, interested art lovers can tune in virtually to hear Laetitia Hussain. A process artists who works across multiple media, including drawing, installation, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, sound and video, Hussain’s imagery and forms address psychological and emotional responses to environmental issues, including mental illness.

She has exhibited at John Davis Gallery in Hudson, Sculpture Space in Utica, Clermont Historic Site, and Basilica Hudson. A graduate from SUNY Purchase, Hussain was born in Marseille, France.
