Dave Maswick and Joel Brown are both regionally based music-legends with a long list of accomplishments, both individually and collectively. Their individual careers as singer-songwriters, guitar-mavens and superlative performers span more than four decades. Combining their world-class talents they have collaborated together in recent years to record two superb recordings, In The Time It Took For Us To Say Goodbye and More or Less.
During the recent (and ongoing) Corona Virus endemic and several months of ‘lockdown’ (throughout New York State), both men hunkered down to create a hand-full of new songs filled with catchy vocal harmonies and smooth musical interplay.
This past Sunday as part of Caffe Lena‘s ‘Stay Home Sessions’ Live, Maswick and Brown, both playing acoustic guitars and exchanging lead vocals (with percussionist Brian Melick adding his sublime percussive accents, rhythms and beats to their tunes) played old and new material to an empty house.
