The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio in Albany launched their pay-per-view “Open For Take-Out Virtual Concert Series.” Produced in collaboration with Chromoscope Pictures this was an audio and video YouTube concert event streamed to subscribers.
Inaugurating the series with regionally-based post-punk garage rockers, Motorbike, the band: Mike O’Donnell (guitar & vocals), Chris Carey (drums), James Kirk (bass) Dustin DeLuke and Frank Moskowitz (keyboards), performed selections from their debut recording, Victory Lap.
Motorbike’s group intensity, passion, dynamics and power was a good choice to debut The Linda’s virtual series which continues with one of the area’s premiere singer-songwriter, Girl Blue. That concert is scheduled for Monday, July 20th at 8 p.m. More information can be had on this and future shows at thelinda.org
