Top Tips for Live Music (for the week beginning August 31st)

The outdoor concert season is winding down, and (with it) most of the opportunities for live shows in this very depressing year.  Catch them while you can, including the (just announced) “Busking on Broadway” series up in Saratoga, put on by our friends at Pint Sized and Palette.  Also, it has to be virtual this year, but Pearlpalooza is still happening and the lineup was just announced…see below.

Best bet:  Not one, but two opportunities to check out Laveda this week.  On Monday, they come to your living room by way of The Linda and their “Open for Take-Out Series”.  Two days later, you can catch them in the flesh over at Sage Park in Troy.  I’ve been digging the dream pop of their debut album “What Happens After”, and they’ve already got a bit of a buzz going on.  Expect them to go places.
