Chase Rice Riding into Empire Live on October 15

To say that Chase Rice has fit a lot into his short 36 years on Earth might be an understatement. Rice played college football as a linebacker for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then went on to work in the Hendrick Motorsports NASCAR pit crew. He worked for Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson, winning two championships. In 2010 he was runner-up on Survivor: Nicaragua.

This was all before he helped pen the monster hit “Cruise” with members of Florida Georgia Line. This song turned FGL from a support act into arena headliners. Since then, Rice has become a star in his own right. He has released five full-length albums and landed eight singles in the Billboard Top 40 Country chart with two of those singles “Eyes on You” and “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen” making their way to number one.

Rice is currently on the road supporting his latest release “The Album.” The tour will make a stop at Downtown Albany’s Empire Live on Friday, August 15th at 8 pm. Limited tickets are still available at Ticketweb.com. Rice sold out his last local appearance in December 2019 at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.
