A Saturday night triple feature at The Madison Theatre booked by 2 Dead Hummingbirds (who wish to provide multi-genre bills that highlight both left-field hardcore and experimental acts) kicked off with hard rock from Albany’s brutal BattleaXXX, followed by some grungy post-punk from Albany’s Fine Grain (accompanied by their own kick-ass projected graphics) and concluded with deranged acid folk from the singular Gary Franky (the artist formerly known as Comrade Nixon).
