Strand Theatre Presents: New York Dance Project

The New York Dance Project returns to the Strand Theatre on April 30. Dancers will perform classical and contemporary works including excerpts from Swan Lake and Gerald Arpino’s birthday variations, as well as five world premieres of contemporary works choreographed by Tyler Gilstrap, Madison Hicks, Brittany Markle, Davis Robertson and Maleek Washington.

In addition, local dancers from the Body Barre’s RCDT will perform “Sleepover” a contemporary piece personally choreographed by co-artist director Davis Robertson of the New York Dance Project. This will be an event the whole family can enjoy.
