New Concert Announcements (from the week ending May 14)
As the weather continues to get warmer, our attention is naturally drawn to outdoor festivals and events. The lineup for GEMfest was announced, and it is stacked. The Empire State Plaza is hosting a Black Arts and Cultural Festival on August 6, featuring SWV. But don’t lose sight of what’s happening inside the venues either; Shamarr Allen at Caffe Lena being an example of a show you don’t want to miss. And the Figgs play a tightener at the Hangar, in advance of Nipperfest the following month.
Bookmark our Calendar to keep up to speed on all the happenings.
