Barrington Stage to Host Free Juneteenth Event with Ain’t Misbehavin’ Discussion

Pittsfield, MA – Barrington Stage in conjunction with its Boyd-Quinson Season Opener Ain’t Misbehavin’ will host a free Juneteenth Event “Lookin’ Good but Feelin’ Bad: An Exploration of Fats Waller and the Art of Subversion” on Sunday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Boyd-Quinson Stage (30 Union Street, Pittsfield).

Choreographer/Director Jeffrey L. Page and guests will discuss the depth, relevance and inspiration of Barrington Stage’s unique production of Ain’t Misbehavin’ (with performances June 16 – July 9).

Attendees must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Proof of vaccination and booster can be proven by showing the physical or a photo of a government-sanctioned vaccination card or by presenting proof via an electronic confirmation like a state-created phone app or online medical records. Adult patrons will also need a form of photo identification in order to enter the theatre.

Please note, masks must be worn at all times in the theatre.
