Ellie Everywhere: Super 400 with special guest Blue Machine at Rockin’ on the River, 07/20/2022

Okay. I know what you are thinking: Hey, this kid is interviewing HERSELF! She is supposed to interview other musicians, either famous or not! We want our money back!! (Not that you people have to pay to see my page and the rest of Nippertown!!) But guys, hear me out! Here is my back story for today: Do you see the page(s) photographed/written by Leif Zurmuhlen? (He writes in Nippertown and photographed my page today!!!!!) If not, go to his page RIGHT AWAY, (I don’t mind if you pause in the middle of my page.) Well, he is the culprit for signing me up to do a different genre today. But enough about that. Let’s get on with interviewing me at the Rockin’ on the River!

Opening band: Blue Machine

Ellie Everywhere: What was it like to watch the Blue Machine set?

Me: Well, to be honest, Me, It was LOUDER than the Super 400 set. Do you know what was louder? VOCALS. Tommy Love really gets into his part on the vocals. If you haven’t been, then go to the next Blue Machine concert. It is as rockiest as rock can be.

Ellie Everywhere: Well that sounds very interesting. I was there and I heard it myself. It was exactly how you described it.

Headlining band: Super 400

Ellie Everywhere: Ok now Me, what was it like to hear Super 400?

Me: Well, it was very fun. I hear songs in a louder version than I usually hear them at home when the band is rehearsing. It’s really fun to hear songs that I have known for so long being cast out into the world. The crowd was going wild. I think they really liked it. I especially liked “When the Levee Breaks” because it was fun for Me to play drums in it!

Ellie Everywhere: What was it like to play on stage with the band?

Me: Well as you know, Me, it was very glorious. It felt like I wanted to do it a thousand more times. I did not like it, I loved it.

Ellie Everywhere: What do you say to encourage people to go to Nipperfest this Saturday?

Me: Well there are going to be 15 different bands playing all different genres of music and it will be really fun for people who just want to be surprised at the music they listen to. I’m sure there will be something for everyone!

Ellie Everywhere: Thanks for letting me interview you, Me

Me: Thanks for letting Me interview you. Bye!

Super 400 will be performing at Nipperfest on Saturday 7/23. Rockin’ On The River at The Waterfront / River Street Market at 433 River Street Troy goes country on Wednesday, August 3 with Local Band Skeeter Creek.  Jo Adee + The Lug Nuts to open.

As usual, a witty, fun, and engaging story! A budding music journalist in the making! Great job!
