Ray LaMontagne, with Special Guest Lily Meola, to Perform at Proctors November 6th

SCHENECTADY – The ever-popular crooning singer-songwriter, Ray LaMontagne, will be bringing his show to Proctors in Schenectady with a performance scheduled on November 6th. Also performing as a special guest that night is Lily Meola. The show will take place as part of LaMontagne’s Monovision Tour.

During the tour this Fall, LaMontagne and his band will be performing the songs from his album MONOVISION as well as hits from across his catalog. MONOVISION includes breakout songs such as “I Was Born To Love You” and #1 AAA single “Strong Enough.” The latest album, released in 2020, marks the eighth studio record for this artist, who has enjoyed continued success across his career.

The melodies themselves are steeped in traditional approaches yet never dated, and LaMontagne’s vocal delivery serves as welcome company, as it has for the 16 years since he debuted with “Trouble” in 2004.

Lily Meola was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Her love of music blossomed in the passenger seat of her Mom’s car listening to legendary artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King. Lily began performing around Maui in local bars and cafes at the young age of 11. Mentored by super-producer Bob Rock, Lily toured with the likes of Willie Nelson, learned to write songs with Jackson Browne, recorded duets with Steven Tyler, Kris Kristofferson, and Sammy Hagar, and co-wrote a single for Andra Day titled “Amen.” Lily spent the last few years in the studio writing and producing the bluesy, soulful pop songs that will make up her debut release.
