Worth a Drive: Anti-Flag Kicks off Tour in Burlington

Pittsburgh punk rockers Anti-Flag are returning to the road this fall. The band will embark on a headline run of the U.S. before heading to Canada. The tour’s first date is September 16 at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont and runs through November 6 after which the band will head to Quebec for a trek with Vulgares Machins and Mudie in November.

“For a band that has been together for almost 30 years, and one who is putting the finishing touches on its 13th album, finding new ways to share these stories, build community, and put empathy first is always a considerable challenge,” Anti-Flag states. “To embark on this next chapter of Anti-Flag, we are taking ANTIfest around the U.S. We will be looking to share new music with each one of these shows. It’s the constant search for solace that lead us to punk rock, and these shows will be a celebration of that search. Another world is possible, and it’s within our reach.”

Expect a heightened level of excitement on this first date of the tour. Brendan Kelly (of the Lawrence Arms) and Mint Green will provide opening support.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $23 day of show, and are on sale now. To purchase tickets, or for more information, contact Higher Ground.
