Board President of the Troy Chromatic Concerts Karl Moschner describes the relationship between the two groups: “Chromatics association with the Music Hall is a key reason for our success in presenting a wide range of renowned classical music performances such as pianist Vladimir Horowitz, contralto Marian Anderson, pianist Artur Rubinstein, soprano Leontyne Price, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and twelve appearances of conductor George Szell with the Cleveland Orchestra, to name just a few.”

From the first concerts in private homes to the series of today, the aim of Troy Chromatic Concerts has been to bring programs of the highest caliber for the enjoyment of local audiences.

“These two historic organizations have a rich history in the City of Troy dating back to before 1918. While many things have changed since then, the world class entertainment they bring to our local and regional community has not. We are excited to see them join together to further enrich our city.”
