The Attic Classic: PHOEBE HENRY learned the power of music through a beat-up nylon string guitar she rented while in Mexico in her early teens. Her songwriting reflected the self-taught nature of playing that guitar – interesting melodies in songs that connected to listeners through sharing of life experiences.

Her music was an organic blend of country and folk, with pop, jazz, rock, and gospel influences sprinkled in, which appealed to a broad audience. After winning a songwriting competition in 2005 her career surged. By the time she was 18, she had released 3 CD’s worth of songs, and had played venues as small as coffeehouses to large stadium-sized events.

The Attic Classic “Knots” comes from the EP version of Phoebe’s 2007 release ‘Glitter and Gold.’
