Erin Harkes to Record Live Comedy Album

ALBANY – Local comedian Erin Harkes announced the live recording of her upcoming comedy album and live special for YouTube this week. Erin has been a top comic in the Capital Region for nearly a decade, performing and producing shows across the country year-round. She will be recording her next live album at the Funny Bone on March 29th.

The new album is a follow-up to her debut album in 2021 called Zoloft + Probation, which was released on Toronto-based label Howl and Roar Records. Several stations picked it up, and SiriusXM continues to play in rotation. The 2021 album has also done well on streaming platforms such as Spotify and iTunes. Erin’s second album will also be released on Howl and Roar later this year.

In addition to recording another album, this special will be taped to be released on YouTube later this year.

As noted, this special will be recorded on Wednesday, March 29, at Albany Funny Bone. Doors are at 6:00, with the show starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10. Also on the bill are Jaye McBride (who recently wrapped up a tour with Amy Schumer) and local favorite Jennifer McMullen as the host and emcee for the evening.

The public is invited to attend. Tickets are available at erinharkes.com. Any questions regarding the press release can be directed to erinharkes@erinharkes.com! Any questions regarding tickets/reservations can be directed to the Albany Funny Bone.
