Unsigned518 Podcast #69, John Prylo of Twilight Drive
When my band, ShortWave RadioBand, was first playing out as our solidified five-piece lineup, Twilight Drive was one of the first bands that we played with. It was at the Troy Speakeasy, and let’s just say that there were not a lot of people out that night, like none. So our bands basically performed for each other, and we had a lot of time to get to know each other, and we became fast friends. Also, Darryl of Twilight Drive was the very first guest I recorded on Unsigned518. So it was really cool to have another member of Twilight Drive on the show, finally. Twilight Drive is a 3-piece that sounds like a 7-piece or more. Very layered, driving sounds with all three members doing at least two different things at a time. Really an interesting band and very friendly dudes. I’m happy for you to hear about Twilight Drive if you are not familiar. They are about to make a splash in the 518; I can feel it.
