Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Garbage to Co-Headline SPAC

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Coming to SPAC on July 8th is Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The former lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist of Oasis and his band – currently touring in support of the new record, Council Skies – are sure to deliver a very entertaining night of rock. Co-headlining that night is Garbage, whose early route of alternative rock in the 1990’s developed and maintained a loyal following. Canadian indie-pop band Metric will start the night out with an opening performance.

In 2010, after the break-up of Oasis, Gallagher formed his solo project, High Flying Birds. The band, delving further into Gallagher’s rock-and-roll songwriting, has just released their latest record, Council Skies.

Formed in 1993, Garbage, with their take on alternative rock, have established a solid and loyal fan base. The band, whose line-up – Shirley Manson (vocals), Duke Erikson (guitar, bass, keyboards), Steve Marker (guitar, keyboards), and Butch Vig (percussion, production) – has remained unchanged since its inception, continues to release new music, most recently with their album, No Gods No Masters, which came out in 2021.
