Glens Falls Symphony Presents July 3rd Summer Pops Concert and Youth Arts Experience

Glens Falls Symphony is delighted to present its annual Summer Pops Concert on Monday, July 3rd, starting at 7:30 PM at Crandall Park. This popular Independence Day family concert is free admission; attendees should arrive early to secure their seating spots and make themselves comfortable on chairs or blankets provided. Food and beverage vendors will also be on-site catering to everyone’s taste, with fireworks rounding off this spectacular night of fun!

Add to that excitement; the Youth Arts Experience will also return this year, coinciding with the July 3rd concert. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, children of all ages can engage in engaging arts activities provided by local art organizations, including World Awareness Children’s Museum and Chapman Museum – among many others!

Jennifer Brink, Executive Director of the Glens Falls Symphony, expressed her delight, saying, “It’s wonderful that we can bring this popular concert to the public on July 3rd, and I am especially looking forward to engaging youth with inspiring, fun art activities during the afternoon.”

This year’s event is themed “Take Us to the Movies!” It will feature esteemed local elected officials such as New York State Senator Dan Stec, Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, and other dignitaries honoring veterans. Queensbury Town Supervisor John Strough and Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins will also add their presence at this community celebration event, further emphasizing its significance.

Crandall Park in Glens Falls will serve as the venue for this year’s Summer Pops Concert. There is ample parking in surrounding streets; however, parking within Crandall Park itself is restricted, except for designated handicapped permits granted on Glen St. access road near War Memorial.

The Summer Pops Concert could not have taken place without the support of its sponsors, including Adirondack Trust Company and other civic and corporate organizations like the City of Glens Falls Hospital and Glens Falls Rotary Club as well as The Chronicle, Glens Falls Rotary Club and Glens Falls National Bank who all lend a helping hand in making this vibrant event such a success.
