Sweet, with Special Guest Sly Fox and the Hustlers, to Appear at Alive at Five’s Classic Rock Night, July 13th

ALBANY – Themed as a Classic Rock Night, Albany’s Alive at Five Series continues July 13th with a performance by Sweet. Opening for them that night is local blues rock band, Sly Fox And The Hustlers.

Legendary rock band The Sweet shot to the top of the charts in the 1970s with such hits as “Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox on the Run,” “Love is Like Oxygen,” “Little Willy,” “Hellraiser,” “Teenage Rampage,” “Blockbuster,” and “Action.” Carrying on Steve Priest’s iteration of the band, the current lineup is dedicated to preserving the legacy of this classic rock band.

    Billing it as Sweet is false advertising.
    This is a cover band with no original or classic members. Just like Foreigner, Molly Hatchet and Little River Band now. No original or classic members.
    But at least it’s free.
