Pilobolus to Come to SPAC on October 8th

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Critically acclaimed modern dance company, Pilobolus, is set to take stage at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on October 8th. This dance company is well known for its daring choreography, innovative collaborations, and groundbreaking pieces which test the limits of human physicality, inviting dancers to explore the beautiful artistry and strength of connected bodies working together.

Continuing on after the success of their preceding tour titled the “Big Five-OH! Anniversary tour,” Pilobolus moves confidently and seamlessly into a new era of ingenious choreography, and entertaining performances as the company moves forth into a fresh tour.

Pilobolus has embarked on their new “Re-Creation Tour,” and the company invites us to come enjoy an incredibly moving show that reminds us that creativity and enjoyment are crucial aspects to experiencing life as a human. 

Through their carefully planned choreography, the dancers of Pilobolus hope to convey a story to their audience that can teach the concept of comfort, and also invite us to become connected to not only ourselves but other humans as well.

As the company moves forward, embarking on its newest journey of the “Re-Creation Tour,” Pilobolus is not naive to the audience’s love of their past works. With this in mind, the company reworks beloved pieces from the past to create a timeless but fresh experience, certain to entertain any and all viewers. For a day filled with audacious dancing with deep meaning behind the movements, come out to SPAC, Sunday, October 8th, for either a 2pm or 7pm showing of Pilobolus’s “Re-Creation Tour.”
