Putnam Place Brings Home the Bacon – the Space Bacon – October 20

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Space Bacon?!? Sign us up! The NYC-based quartet comes to Putnam Place on October 20th with a repertoire and live show as eclectic and captivating as their creative influences. Brooklyn-based duo, Teddy Midnight, kicks off the evening.

The jam quartet known as Space Bacon weaves composition and improvisation through an ever-changing landscape. Drawing from an array of inspirations including jam bands, electronic music, film scores, and a bit of metal, Space Bacon seeks to challenge conventions and pave the way in the modern era of improvisational music.

They’re constantly searching to bring their jams into unchartered territory, taking the necessary risks to have those mind-altering breakthroughs which propel bands to the next level.

The two members of Teddy Midnight met whilst studying music at SUNY Oneonta, and have since toured the country numerous times, in support of multiple EP releases dating as far back as 2018. Their brand new live show infuses disco, house and techno music for a completely unique experience.
