Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band Return to Caffe Lena, Oct. 28th

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Returning to the regionally acclaimed Caffe Lena stage on October 28th is Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band. Reese and his fluid collective of Carriage House Band players weave thought-provoking lyrics with equally thoughtfully arranged music to deliver an entertaining night of music for those in attendance.

“Fulmer is a songwriter whose lyrics expose parts of myself to me that I often cannot put language to, and for that, I’m both grateful and mystified… Each time I hear him live, the music is different because the band members are different, and they bring capacity for greater variety within the beauty of the songs.” (Laura DaPolito, Nippertown) If you ask Reese about himself, he’ll tell you he’s a brand new soul. But his songs tell a different story, with a clear eye and poetic touch, of a conduit to something much older and deeper. With a fluid lineup of versatile and talented players in his Carriage House Band, Reese’s music is reminiscent of the early work of Josh Ritter or Iron & Wine. Together, they were recognized as the 2023 Americana Artist of the Year at the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards.

The Carriage House Band on stage with Reese at Caffè Lena on October 28th will feature Sara Milonovich on fiddle, Chris Bloniarz on mandolin, Jimi W. on electric guitar, James Gascoyne on bass, and Chris Carey on drums.
