John Mellencamp “Live and In Person 2024” Tour coming to Proctors in March

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp announces the extension of his celebrated tour, “Live and In Person 2024,” bringing his storied catalog of heartland rock to fans across 27 cities, starting March 8, with a performance at Proctors in Schenectady on March 14th.

Mellencamp, whose voice has chronicled the American experience for decades, is back after a triumphant “Live and In Person 2023” tour, hailed by critics for its potent mix of music, theater, and introspective storytelling. His shows, described by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as a multifaceted entertainment event, are poised to captivate audiences once again.

Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale November 3, with Citi cardmembers getting a head start on October 31. Fans can also sign up for a Mellencamp mailing list presale starting November 1.

In addition to his classics, Mellencamp will feature tracks from his latest album, “Orpheus Descending,” which has already garnered critical praise. The Chicago Tribune noted its profound commentary on social issues, a theme Mellencamp has adeptly woven into his music over the years.
