A Banjo Lover’s Dream Arrives November 17th-19th

OLIVEBRIDGE – Banjo lovers, this one’s for you! A whole weekend dedicated to the twangy tunes of the banjo is happening, and you’re invited! With a lineup of fantastic teachers, including the renowned Tony Trischka, guests are welcomed to come learn from the best in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Happening Friday, November 17th through Sunday, November 19th at The Ashoka Center, this is your chance to learn new songs and techniques, and get answers to all your banjo-related questions.

Trischka has been called the “father of modern bluegrass” by the New York Times. He is a legendary banjo player who has shared his knowledge with and influenced numerous musicians over the years. By working with artists from various genres, Trischka has earned many awards, from IBMA wins to Grammy nominations.

Trischka’s teaching methods run the gamut, but all have been proven effective within the banjo community. Whether through books, videos, live performances, private lessons, or online resources like Artistworks, Trischka’s teachings have changed the ways of banjo education.
