Attic Classic: Originally from the Bronx, CHARLIE MORRIS began his career in music playing guitar in the dives and bars downstate. Eventually he made his way to Saratoga in the 90’s, once again having to build his reputation as a talented guitarist and singer. Busking on street corners and performing in local coffee houses eventually led to gigs opening for national touring acts.

Somehow, through all those years playing sideman to many local singer-songwriters and lending his talents to cover bands, Charlie found time to record his 1999 debut album “Welcome to Singletown…” which features his original compositions and showcases his impressive guitar skills. Across the 11 songs included on the album, Charlie’s technical ability on guitar never sacrifices feeling or emotion for virtuosity. The Attic Classic is the “Welcome To Singletown…” title track.

Here’s one of a few clips of Charlie fronting The Coveralls, a little ole country & rock n roll band, back in 2017…
