Kansas returning to Palace Theatre in 2024

Classic rock enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the anticipated return of Kansas to the Palace Theater in a celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary. The show is set for May 11 as part of the Another Fork in the Road tour.

The last time Kansas performed at the Palace was on Oct. 26, 2019, during its Point of Know Return 40th Anniversary tour. Notably, the band was also part of Albany’s, “Alive at Five,” summer concert series in 2011.

Kansas kicks off the 32-show tour at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville on Jan. 12. Among the nearby stops on the tour are the Kodak Center in Rochester on May 2, Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York, on May 16 and College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut, on May 18, which will be the tour’s final destination. Despite its name, the band won’t be making a stop in its home state of Kansas.

Joining together on this tour will be original members Phil Ehart and Rich Williams, longtime member Billy Greer, and newer members Ronnie Platt, Tom Brislin, and Joe Deninzon.

For additional tour dates, fans can visit the band’s website. Tickets, starting at $64.70, are now available on Ticketmaster.
