The Capital Brew Podcast #20: Cigars And Beer

Ben from the Dog Haus is back and this time with cigars. Along with Danielle from Park Lane in Clifton Park , Ben pairs cigars with beer that we picked out.

First up on the docket, a house cigar from Park Lane called Bonacquisti. We are told that this cigar is a lock when paired with a Whiskey or the Tiny Tartan Scotch Ale from Wolf Hollow. Next up was the Macanudo Inspirado Black. A stick with notes of spice, dark chocolate, coffee, nuts, and cocco. A nice contrast to Paradox’s tropical and juicy Booch Tronic NEIPA. Finally the Olivia Serie V, Melanio with it’s tones of rich coffee and dark chocolate was a perfect complement to Duck Rabbit’s Porter.

We had a lot of fun pairing cigars and beer, so it is safe to say we will be doing this again. Maybe even as a subseries for the future. Thank you again to Ben at the Dog Haus and Danielle from Park Lane.
