Saratoga Giant PumpkinFest Tomorrow, September 24th

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the Saratoga Springs City Center, and the Saratoga Farmers Market are proud to host the 7th Annual Saratoga Giant PumpkinFest Weigh-Off tomorrow, September 24th, at the Saratoga Springs City Center Parking Garage.

Giant pumpkin growers from the Northeast will again compete at this Festival to find the biggest pumpkin of the year. In 2019, there were 40+ giant pumpkins and a crowd of 10,000 people in attendance. Last year, they were still able to weigh these pumpkins safely and transport them to locations for families around the county to view for the month of October!

This is a FREE family-friendly event. The giant pumpkins begin arriving in the early morning, with the weigh-off starting at 11 a.m. Best of all, you can take photos and selfies with these giant pumpkins to share with friends and family! There is also the Saratoga Farmer’s Market next door on High Rock Avenue, food vendors, and special exhibits.

Schedule of Activities

6:00 a.m – 8:00 a.m. – Registration for Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

8:30 a.m. – Vendors arrive at the Parking Garage for setup

9:00 a.m. – Saratoga Farmer’s Market opens on High Rock Ave.

10:00 a.m. – Food vendors & exhibits open

11:00 a.m. – Weigh-off begins

2:00 p.m. – Farmer’s Market closes

4:00 p.m. – Giant Pumpkin Contest winners announced and pumpkins removed.
