Dust Bowl Faeries to Play Troy Music Hall’s Summer Square Series, July 8th

TROY – On July 8th, Troy Music Hall will host Dust Bowl Faeries as part of the venue’s Summer Square Series. The band, with their unique blend of genres, couple their act with a stimulating visual experience, making for an interesting event for those in attendance.

A faerie-tale fusion of dark cabaret, gothic polka and post-punk music, Dust Bowl Faeries are a dark-carnival band from the New York Hudson Valley. The band’s eclectic repertoire of songs draw inspiration from circus songs, murder ballads and Eastern European folk music, creating a fusion of post-punk, gypsy, and psyche-folk. Ryder and Hazel, a taxidermy ram who performs with the band as their spirit animal, are joined by musicians Rubi LaRue, Jon B. Woodin, Liz LoGiudice and Andrew Stein.

TICKET INFORMATION:

The Summer Square Concert Series is a free, outdoor event at 6:00 pm. Held on Saturday nights, the series runs through July and August in the Troy Music Hall Courtyard.
