Folk Rock Diva Lilli Lewis to Perform at Caffe Lena, Oct. 12th

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Coming to the Caffe Lena stage on October 12 is the Lilli Lewis Trio. The progressive, provocative, folk rock diva is a powerhouse of raw, soulful emotion with a focus on social justice. Opening for her band that night is LVDY.

Athens, Georgia native turned New Orleans Folk Rocker Lewis is a composer and performing artist, whose music NPR describes as “storytelling with transformative empathy and classically trained poise.” Lewis is a voice for the voiceless on Americana, her third full album. Gathering reviews like “One of the most powerful records of 2021, Americana offers up 13 tracks of raw, unfiltered talent … jaw-dropping vocal stylings, sharp lyricism, irresistible hooks and a needed perspective that’s often overlooked…” from TheBoot.com, and “a rootsy, country soul album that really hits the spot with its melancholy meditations and narratives…” from Americana UK, it’s certainly an album worth investing in if you missed out a couple years ago.

Opening act LVDY (pronounced LADY) is a Colorado-based duo comprised of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling is a delightful recipe of singer-songwriter/indie-folk, with powerful melodies and harmonies that speak to the senses. Love anthems weave in and out of their messages, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone.
